  • I would always plead with my wife “please just give me 2 hours” and this happens because I work at night. There are times that she’s awake and I’m just about to sleep 😅
  • We take sleep for granted, we want to get work done, sacrificing efficiency and quality. I take the movie as a call out to give importance back to sleep and the human malfunctions brought by the lack of it.
  • So, I make it habit, to treat the bed sacred, I don’t use my phone when I lie down, I lie down only, and only to sleep 👏

Self doubt is defeated by peer support
  • Most of my ideas die out, simply because I lack the ability of getting peer support to back them up
  • So to address this, I’ve spent countless hours, accumulating Udemy Certifications, thanks to my company’s account, I took paid courses for free 👏
  • I find it helpful to make it a habit, to apply learning immediately, I found the peer support in these courses, although indirectly it still helps 👍

When do we truly listen? Is it only about gossip? About controversial topics?

My work entails that I be a good listener, I take calls for 8 hours in a day and there are tendencies that I hear the same old story over and over again

But the most meaningful conversations I’ve had with clients talking about their problems, was when I consciously decided to make a difference

Let’s not waste time, let’s make it a habit, to say “oh my, it really sounds frustrating, please allow me to make things right” and deliver the difference
